Job Description
Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies.Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls to enhance financial integrity and efficiency.Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Monitor changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on the company.Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the accounting team.Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations and enhance accuracy.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial or leadership role.Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX, financial reporting, and compliance regulations.Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.What's on Offer
