**Experience:** Minimum of 2+ Years in CVICU
**License:** Kentucky RN License
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH
**Must-Have:** - CVICU experience - Experience with open heart recovery within 24 hours - Hemodynamic (Swan) experience
**Job Description:** - Work in a high-acuity environment specializing in cardiac care. - Handle advanced medical equipment such as CRRT (Prismax), IABP, Impella, ECMO, and VADs. - Manage patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2. - Utilize EMR system Cerner for patient documentation. - Ensure flexibility with float requirements to other ICU units handling only CVICU patients. - Provide care for cardiac patients, including those undergoing heart and lung transplants. - Maintain a positive and hardworking attitude while understanding the complexities of high acuity care.
