JOB DESCRIPTION

The VOIP Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP) systems and networks to ensure seamless, high-quality communication within our organization and for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications, IP networking, and troubleshooting VOIP technologies. Experience with Mitel, ShoreTel or Cisco is preferred. Candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of installation experience of VOIP products and solutions. Knowledge of Cloud based telephony solutions is also desired.

WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO Design, configure, and deploy VOIP infrastructure solutions to support the organization's communication needs. Manage and maintain existing VOIP systems, including upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve VOIP-related issues across a variety of hardware and software platforms. Integrate VOIP systems with other communication platforms and ensure interoperability with legacy systems. Provide documentation, training, and technical support to end-users and other IT staff on VOIP systems. Work closely with network engineers, system administrators, and other IT personnel to ensure end-to-end service quality. Keep up-to-date with the latest VOIP technologies, industry standards, and best practices to suggest improvements and optimize services. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or equivalent experience. Strong knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and QoS. Hands-on experience with VOIP hardware and software platforms, such as Mitel, ShoreTel Cisco or other enterprise VOIP systems. Proficient in network diagnostics and troubleshooting tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills:

Experience with unified communication systems and integrations. Familiarity with cloud-based VOIP services and platforms. Knowledge of scripting and automation for VOIP system maintenance. WHAT WE OFFER
