Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Lead Developer responsible for building and supporting full-stack applications. This role requires hands-on expertise in front-end and back-end development, as well as experience working with cloud services, databases, and technical documentation. The .NET Lead Developer will play a crucial role in coding, troubleshooting, debugging, and aligning application frameworks with compliance standards. Collaboration with both technical and business teams is essential, as well as the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

•Understand user requirements and develop clean, efficient code across front-end and back-end layers.

•Participate in design and review sessions, ensuring alignment with project requirements.

•Create visually appealing front-end applications that adhere to design guidelines.

•Develop effective web APIs using .NET Core technologies.

•Write and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.

•Develop and optimize database scripts, ensuring efficient query performance.

•Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.

•Document technical processes and write Standard Operating Procedures.

•Provide knowledge transfer to team members and document application support lifecycle processes.

•Ensure compliance with NYS standards, particularly for accessibility in UI design.

•Participate in post-implementation incident resolution as needed.

Required Qualifications

•Extensive experience with .NET Core for both front-end and back-end development.

•Proficiency in front-end technologies, including ASP.NET Core, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS/LESS, Bootstrap, and third-party controls like Telerik/Infragistics.

•Strong experience in middleware technologies: .NET Core, C#, Entity Framework Core, Web API, LINQ, XML, JSON, and Swagger.

•Expertise in database management with SQL Server, T-SQL, and the ability to write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.

•Familiarity with cloud services, including Azure App Insights, Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, Azure Redis Cache, and Azure Blob Storage/File Share.

•Experience with code management tools: Git/TFS, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and peer reviews.

•Unit testing experience using XUnit or NUnit.

•Proficiency in development IDEs, including Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and SSMS.

•Familiarity with Docker and Windows operating systems.

•Strong documentation skills, with experience in MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio.

Preferred Qualifications

•Ability to work independently and in collaboration with technical and business teams.

•Experience aligning applications with compliance standards, especially for UI accessibility.
