The Digital Marketing Intern
Are you looking for a meaningful, eight-week, summer internship? Would you love to help make God's word accessible, helping authors reach the world with life-transforming messages? If Christian books have impacted your life, we have a spot for a Digital Marketing Intern to join our team this summer!
Tyndale House Publishers, the largest independent Christian book publisher, has a hybrid Digital Marketing Intern position available this summer on its Alliances marketing team in its Carol Stream, Illinois office.
Our whole company eagerly awaits the arrival of our summer interns, who work in a variety of capacities throughout the company. In addition to your team responsibilities, our talent development team will set up opportunities to network with other interns and receive additional business training so that you will have a well-rounded, Christian book publishing experience.
The Tyndale Alliances team launches products that help people grow spiritually and relationally. You will roll up your sleeves and get real-world marketing experience on a variety of projects including SEO/SEM research, product marketing plan development, blog support, social media, video creation, and more. We realize your need for marketing experience that produces something tangible at the end of your internship, so we intentionally provide projects that you can showcase in your career search. This role offers a variety of marketing applications to help determine your strengths, what you enjoy, and where improvement is needed.
Interested in interning on a healthy, thoughtful, collaborative, and creative team? We're a fun bunch that loves Jesus, and we're ready to train, support, and encourage the right candidate. This position will report to the Associate Marketing Manager. Training to onboard you to the company and the responsibilities will be provided. This full-time, temporary position will be hybrid. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays you will work in the Carol Stream, Illinois office. Tuesdays and Fridays will be remote work days, so you'll need a reliable internet connection to do your work on a company-provided laptop. As part of your onboarding, you will take the Myers-Briggs test, which provides helpful personality information and how your personality type integrates with our team.
About the Tyndale Alliances Team
Tyndale Alliances is a five-person, healthy, agile, tight-knit team within Tyndale House Publishers that serves two niche, independent Christian publishers: Focus on the Family and NavPress. The Alliances team values relationships, time together where we can be transparent and have fun amidst pressing work responsibilities, and we're willing to take risks and learn from the results. We aim to be a true team where we create shared successes. Our perspective toward our partners is to continually move toward healthy communications, relationships, and long-term growth.
We have identified team norms and apply them whenever we meet. Our team norms are to enter the danger; to fully engage in meetings; to recognize that we are obligated to speak up (dissent) when we disagree; to share the last ten-percent of what's on our minds; to realize that sometimes, even though we disagree with a group decision, that we still need to commit to the shared goal; and finally, to give others permission to protect us if there is a blind spot that we need help seeing. The Alliances team strives to continually challenge marketing initiatives and explore new opportunities. Ultimately, we want our partners to find our services to be irreplaceable.
Many employees join Tyndale because they are passionate about the way God's Word, biblically based literature, and Tyndale's giving can minister to the spiritual needs of people. When you apply, we want to know
what you're passionate about
and why you want to work here. That's why we highly recommend writing a
cover letter , so that we have a chance to get to know
you .
Still interested in pursuing this dynamic, faith-infused Digital Marketing Intern position at a company whose mission and products make an eternal difference? We hope so.
