Position Summary:

We are looking for a

Director of Enterprise Application Technical Services

to join our team as a key contributor in the transformation and growth of our business. This role will lead a team that is part of Welch's Enterprise Systems group and will be responsible our ERP application landscape (SaaS), Enterprise Application Integration (internal and external), development standards and technology roadmap to deliver our transformational growth agenda. A strong technical background in Enterprise Application Integration and vendor management are essential.

Where You'll Work

This role will initially be based out of our Concord, MA headquarters and then moving to a new space in Waltham MA in the summer of 2025 where you can immerse yourself in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives, and collaboration is key.

Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in office and Thursdays/Friday being remote, flex days.

What You'll Do:Lead a team of technology professionals that are accountable for our enterprise application stack.Provide technical design and development leadership to our transformational systems program, including technical work scoping and estimation, execution management, technical design review and approval.Evaluate the state of Enterprise Application Integration (both internal and to external partners) technologies being used at Welch's, the strategies and roadmaps of Welch's enterprise applications, general EAI industry trends/directions, and define an overall EAI strategy, roadmap, and delivery capabilities for Welch's.Partner with functional experts and architects on assessment of evolving technologies such as AI/ML, low-code/no-code development, and RPA for application to our business as we continue to uncover innovative ways to leverage these technologies to create additional business valueOwn the vendor relationships for our enterprise application portfolioEstablish and maintain SLA with all our application service partnersManage contracts for the enterprise application portfolioEstablish and maintain development guidelines including coding standards, design reviews, etc.Establish and maintain SDLC process including release managementResponsible for customer satisfaction, service level agreements and IT improvement plansResponsible for the modernization and migration of Welch's legacy systems environment to a cloud first strategyAdditional duties & responsibilities as needed to support the business and IT transformationWho You Are:

Demonstrated leaderStrong problem solving and decision-making skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven experience implementing EAI strategies and toolsAbility and desire to engage with all functions across the Enterprise to understand and articulate the business requirements as well as the IT capabilitiesAbility to influence and lead change at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated broad knowledge of major aspects of IT including systems architecture, analysis, design, and developmentStrong financial acumen and knowledge of business management, budgeting, and business office operationsPromotes and fosters a positive work environment by building relationships across the organization, especially within the IT TeamWhat You'll Need:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree a +10+ years' progressive IT experience required5+ years' EAI experience and expertise implementing enterprise solutions3+ year experience leading technical teamsDeep technical knowledge in EAI, EDI, ERP extensionsProblem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional levelStrategy and planning: Ability to set goals and lead staff and cross-functional teams to execute objectivesExcellent organizational, time management and negotiating skillsBuilds and retains relationships with business and technology colleaguesShows consistent and appropriate responsiveness to both urgent and non-critical mattersAt Welch's we value diversity, a passion for what you do, and a commitment to continuous learning.
