Inventory and Shipping Clerk - 9am-5pm

The Inventory and Shipping Clerk will perform a variety of shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks, including preparing items for shipment and ensuring cost effective courier services. The Clerk will lead the work of shipping and receiving personnel performing related work, maintain records of materials in inventory and on order, monitor reorder points, and initiates action to replenish stock. The Clerk will also reconcile discrepancies in inventories and notifies the supervisor of those irregularities.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure all shipments receive the proper labeling and postal charges and are packaged to arrive safely.Accurately label and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges.Prepare detailed and accurate invoices to accompany shipments and ensure all items are packaged and shipped to company standards.Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.May need to safety transport company products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.Other duties as required.Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.1 year of experience in either shipping or inventory.Experience working in a fast-paced environment.Effectively communicate technical and other information orally, and in writing.Attention to detail.Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
