Responsible for managing psychotropic medications for the people served by the ACT Team of RHA. Duties include initial Psychiatric Evaluation of client and subsequent follow up visits for medication evaluation and management.The RHA ACT Team serves the communities of Rutherford and McDowell Counties with an office based in Forest City, NC
Pay rate : Negotiable based on experience and certifications
Schedule : we are hiring for 8-16 hours per week on site and in the community, schedule is flexible
Education and/or Experience:Must be licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantMust be certified at the national level by American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Nurse PractitionerBe familiar with standards of practice for position and regulationsPreferred 3 years experience working in behavioral health care.Required trainingValid driver's license (this is a condition of employment) including personal vehicle insurance coverage.Requires a certification as a psychiatric nurse practitioner or physician assistant and experience working with the population supported. Relies on experience, knowledge, and judgment to provide services with limited supervision and directionWhy Should You Apply?

Psychiatric EvaluationsMedications Management for adults with serious and persistent mental illness along with co-occurring disordersMost sessions/visits are conducted in the communityProvide clinical oversight in conjunction with a licensed team leader to a team of multidisciplinary professionalsWork in collaboration with not only other RHA staff but health care professionals in the community.#HPBH
