to join its hospital based heart and vascular clinic.Seeking an experienced, Interventional Vascular Surgeon to spearhead the development of a new service line.The ideal physician will provide comprehensive vascular services in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, including peripheral stenting and endovascular procedures in the lab and surgery as appropriate including but not limited too; Carotid Artery Stenting, EVAR / TEVAR, CLI / Limb Salvage, HD Access, Vein Ablation / Intervention, Minimally Invasive Peripheral Intervention, VNUS Closure of Varicose VeinsExtensive internal referral baseEasy commute from Charlotte - Go against the busy work traffic OR live on or near Lake NormanBenefits May Include:

As a vital member of our department, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise in vascular and interventional radiology to make a positive impact on the lives of our patientsIn order to be considered for this role, applicants must possess a medical degree, be licensed in the state of North Carolina, and be board certified in radiology and interventional radiologyResponsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures ensuring accuracy and precision in resultsCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and technicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patientsStay up-to-date on current research and advancements in vascular and interventional radiology, and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practiceMaintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and proceduresCommunicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and support throughout the diagnostic and treatment processDocument all procedures accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining patient records and reports according to departmental standardsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and protocols within the departmentAdhere to all regulatory and legal requirements, including maintaining licensure and board certificationMaintain professional development through continued education and training opportunitiesDemonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and compassion towards patients and colleagues at all times
