Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with expertise in Routing, Switching, Meraki, and ACI to join our team in Kansas City, KS (Onsite). The ideal candidate will have 13+ years of experience working with Cisco products, including in-depth knowledge of routing protocols, troubleshooting, and network management. This role requires proficiency in both cloud and on-premise network management, advanced troubleshooting skills, and expertise in maintaining secure and high-performance network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
•Deploy and configure network devices and update network diagrams to document existing network setups.
•Perform proactive analysis to identify areas for network improvement.
•Provide SME-level troubleshooting and issue resolution support.
•Standardize the configuration of network devices across the infrastructure.
•Coordinate with OEMs and third-party vendors for connectivity and infrastructure issues.
•Plan, schedule, and implement network software and hardware upgrades and migrations.
•Manage cloud network traffic, including Vnet site-to-site VPN, point-to-site VPN, and express route subnet management.
•Reserve IP addresses for both internal and external networks.
•Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot a global ACI environment.
•Implement and maintain a high-performance wireless network using advanced Cisco wireless technologies.
•Maintain a zero-downtime ISE infrastructure with expert troubleshooting skills.
•Conduct log analysis and correlation using Splunk to proactively identify and address network issues.
•Manage, design, and troubleshoot the Infoblox DDI environment with advanced expertise.
•Configure and manage load balancers for network services.
•Handle incident, problem, change management, and service catalog processes for network services.
•Understand and implement authentication protocols such as TACACS and RADIUS.
•Follow change and problem management processes and ensure alignment with network standards.
•Participate in rotational night shifts to provide 24/7 support.
Required Qualifications
•13+ years of experience working with Cisco products and network operations.
•Strong expertise in Routing protocols, Switching, Meraki, and ACI.
•Hands-on experience in cloud network management (traffic manager, VPN, public IP, and subnet management).
•Advanced expertise in log analysis and troubleshooting using Splunk.
•Experience managing Infoblox DDI environments.
•Strong skills in wireless networking using Cisco technologies.
•Understanding of authentication protocols (TACACS, RADIUS).
•Certifications: CCNA and CCNP in Routing and Switching.
•Excellent communication skills and experience working with change and problem management processes.
•Willingness to work in rotational night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
•Advanced knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
•Experience with incident and problem management for network services.
•Proficiency in load balancer configuration and management.
Certifications
•CCNA and CCNP in Routing and Switching (Required).
