Sales Manager

to join our team and help us continue our growth and success.

Position Summary:As the

Sales Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing the dealership's sales team, driving performance, and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. You will play a key role in training and developing the sales staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and creating strategies to increase dealership revenue. Your leadership will help maintain a positive and high-energy environment that motivates the sales team to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership:

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales associates to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.

Training & Development:

Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to sales staff to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.

Performance Monitoring:

Track individual and team performance, ensuring all sales targets, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics are met.

Customer Relationship Management:

Foster long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.

Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotions, and marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the dealership and increase sales.

Inventory Management:

Work closely with the inventory team to ensure the dealership has the right mix of vehicles and that the showroom is well-presented.

Negotiation & Closing:

Oversee negotiations, handle difficult sales situations, and ensure a smooth closing process.

Reporting:

Maintain and present detailed sales reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales summaries, forecasts, and budgets.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including finance, service, and parts, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1-2 years in a management or leadership role.

Proven Success:

Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Leadership Skills:

Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. Ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to perform at their best.

Customer-Centric:

Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.

Problem-Solving:

Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle customer objections and close deals effectively.

Organizational Skills:

Detail-oriented with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Technology Proficiency:

Comfortable using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

Automotive Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with the latest trends in the automotive industry, financing options, and vehicle inventory management.

Sales Certifications:

Any relevant automotive sales certifications or training (e.g., NADA, Automotive Sales Management courses) is a plus.
