We are currently hiring a
Market Manager
in
Southern OR . This role will cover the Eugene, Springfield, Corvallis, Medford, Bend to the coast. The ideal candidate is required to live in Eugene or Springfield areas.
*Please note that while this position is listed as "working remotely", our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The Market Manager (MM) is responsible for increasing availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio of brands within their assigned distributor territory through direct selling and wholesaler management to generate depletion growth. Creating a value added wholesaler relationship within all levels of their organizations.
What You'll Brew:Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling processLearn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product stylesHunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in multi unit chains and key accountsUtilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentationsUse internal and external data to plan and identify opportunities across the districtBuild strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers by providing leadership and training across defined geographyAssist in the develop Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for the defined districtManage budget for given district and account baseConduct monthly/quarterly Planning & Review meetings to benchmark current progress to goal and sell BBC objectivesWorking conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer facing nature of roleMay be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the businessOccasional travel for meetings and trainingsRegular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalersWhat Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years sales and/or food/beverage industry experienceMust be able to lift weight equivalent to one case of beerValid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously40% travel to attend Retail and Distributor sales calls and meetingsPreferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's DegreeAlcohol beverage experienceLevel: 6
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $76,500 and $109,200 However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and induvial performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
