The Electrical Assembler will be responsible for providing general assembly support to Production. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, and a high degree of initiative and follow-through.
This is a full-time position based at the Company’s Louisville, Colorado facility. The Electrical Assembler reports to the Production Manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Assemble components, with a technical aptitude to cross-train between electrical and mechanical assemblies.
- Communicate with internal staff and customers.
- Meet project completion and shipping schedules.
- Maintain a clean and efficient shop and production area.
- Coexist and function in a team environment.
- Assist with debugging and testing machinery in Test Center / Production Department.
- Preparation of technical information on machinery.
- Troubleshoot existing assemblies, test products and applications, and work with service team to repair customer equipment.
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly on a variety of components, sub-assemblies and top-level assemblies by following specified procedures and instructions to produce electrical and mechanical components.
- Review and interpret general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments; ask clarifying questions when in doubt.
- Layout and wiring of industrial control panels (back panels and doors).
- Interconnecting industrial control panels with skid mounted equipment.
- Test control systems.
- Over-the-phone troubleshooting and customer service.
- Meet project completion timelines and shipping schedules.
- Maintain a clean and efficient shop and production area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in production of mechanical, plumbing components, drilling, and measurement skills.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in production of industrial control panels and troubleshooting industrial control panels and instrumentation.
- Operation of basic hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).
- Operation of basic power tools (hand drill, drill press, grinder, etc.).
- Knowledge of general shop tools and safety procedures.
- Ability to read and do general math.
- Ability to interpret and work from shop drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to understand wiring and electrical schematics.
- Clear and concise oral and written English language communication skills required, including proper grammar and e-mail etiquette.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work under high pressure conditions and to successfully handle stressful situations efficiently, professionally and effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of wastewater and industrial equipment preferred (but not required).
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, speak and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
- Must have manual dexterity to operate the equipment and tools required for this position.
- Must be able to quickly respond (with the hand, finger or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.
- Must maintain clean and professional appearance while working with customers, vendors and colleagues.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Light Industrial - May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, chemicals and industrial facilities. Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions; and

This position is non-exempt. The base salary range for this postion is $24-$30. Compensation is dependent on experience and skill level. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
