Highly regarded boutique law firm seeks a paralegal with a background in civil litigation to join their recognized practice. This is a great opportunity for a motivated paralegal looking to work with a close-knit, collaborative team. We are searching for an exceptional litigation paralegal to assist attorneys in trust and probate administration and litigation. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and proficient with case preparation and management, including drafting legal documents, assisting with hearings and client meetings.Qualifications & Skills:
Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience2-5 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in trust and/or probate mattersStrong understanding of litigation process and proceduresExperience assisting with drafting and preparing documents, filing with the courts, scheudling meetings and court appearancesGreat interpersonal and communication skillsExtremely detail oriented and effective organizational abilitiesSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize and proactively manage caseloadAbility to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of our teamStrong computer skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft ExcelExperience with family or elder law is a plus
