GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the security function at assigned Henry Ford Health locations. Coordinates and directs activities of all department personnel engaged in providing a safe and secure hospital environment. Responsible for the development and maintenance of the department budget, policies, procedures, and goals. Serves as a technical resource to staff members and a liaison to outside law enforcement/security, safety, and public service agencies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Associate's Degree in Security Administration, Criminal Justice, or related fields.

Five to seven (5-7) years of progressively more responsible experience in security operations, including a minimum of 3-5 years security supervisor experience.

Seven to ten (7-10) years preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

Must qualify for any state required licensing.
