Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Assembler to produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This role involves basic electrical wiring, using hand tools, and conducting quality control checks. You will be responsible for integrating electrical wires into products, mounting assembled components on chassis panels, and installing finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Responsibilities
Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Perform basic electrical wiring and integrate electrical wires into products.
Use hand tools such as crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits, or similar tools.
Mount assembled components like transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels.
Connect component wires to circuits and connect wires between individual component leads.
Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.
Position or align components and parts.
Use hand tools or machines to assemble parts.
Conduct quality control checks.
Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Essential Skills
Experience in manufacturing and mechanical assembly.
Proficiency in electrical assembly and basic electrical wiring.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams.
Skilled in using hand and power tools.
Strong understanding of quality control processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform heavy lifting.
Must be able to work mandatory hours from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
