With a keen interest in maintaininga highly redundant and scalable secure network, you are ready to contribute toa dynamic network engineering team responsible for supporting global networkservices. Your expertise spans LAN, WAN, Data Center, remote access, wireless,and firewall security. You excel in improving network security posture throughnew vendor solutions, maintaining Zero Trust Architecture, and supporting cloudoperations in AWS, Azure, and GCP. You are eager to growand learn, embracing new challenges and opportunities to advance your career innetwork security.What You'll Be Doing:Maintain network securitystandards, governance, and compliance.Troubleshoot networkconnectivity and security access issues.Assist with deployment andtroubleshooting of network security infrastructure for global remote fieldoffices and data centers.Contribute to network securityticketing and provide timely resolution for end-user issues.Utilize automation tools andscripts to standardize deployment configurations and environments.Manage network securityinfrastructure, including SASE, firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and ZTA solutions.Help maintain and advance ZeroTrust Architecture adoption.Identify and solve problemsrelated to overall security infrastructure performance, efficiency, andavailability in a timely manner.Contribute to network securitydocumentation and knowledge base articles.Support basic operations inAzure/AWS/GCP cloud environments.Participate in an on-callrotation.The Impact You Will Have:Enhance Synopsys' networksecurity posture through the implementation of new vendor solutions.Ensure compliance with networksecurity standards, governance, and best practices.Provide critical support forglobal remote field offices and data centers, ensuring secure and reliablenetwork connectivity.Utilize automation tostreamline deployment configurations, improving efficiency andconsistency.Support the advancement andmaintenance of Zero Trust Architecture, reinforcing Synopsys' securityframework.Contribute to the resolution ofnetwork security issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring businesscontinuity.What You'll Need:BA or BS in a technicaldiscipline.US Citizen/Federal ITARcompliant.2+ years of networkadministration experience supporting small and large enterpriseenvironments.Experience with configuring andtroubleshooting VPN, IPsec, NAC, DOT1x, TLS/SSL encryption.General exposure to firewallmaintenance and operations.Knowledge of switchingfundamentals such as Ethernet, VLANs, and LACP.Basic troubleshootingexperience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS.Knowledge of OSI model, routingprotocols, and fundamentals.Experience using networkdiagnostic and packet analysis tools.Strong verbal and writteninterpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independentlyand troubleshoot problems with speed and efficiency.Strong customer service skills.Attention to detail andaccuracy.Ability to work after hours oron weekends to support projects and maintenance activities.Potential travel to supportfield office projects.Must be fluent in English.Bonus Qualifications:2 years of relevant workexperience, including scripting/coding.Network certifications such asCompTIA Network+, CCNA, CompTIA Security+, ZIA.Proficiency with scriptingtools such as Ansible and Python.Experience with Cisco, Aruba,and Palo Alto.Strong troubleshooting skillsand creative problem-solving abilities under pressure.The Team You'll Be A Part Of:You will join adynamic network engineering team responsible for supporting all global networkservices, including LAN, WAN, Data Center, remote access, wireless, andfirewall security.
