Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Assembler to join our dynamic team. The Assembler will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to assemble electronic components and products. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow complex instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies.

Position and align parts in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.

Perform operations such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, and press fitting to join or secure parts.

Mount assembled components to boards or units and install multi-level subassemblies and modules into racks.

Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies.

Perform intermediate assembly tasks, including potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies.

Tend machines that press, shape, or wind component parts.

Conduct online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Set up stations with the correct documents and components per assembly drawing.

Handle and install polarized/non-polarized components on designated locations on products.

Adjust or trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics.

Assist in performing repair work and communicate any process problems with peers, leads, supervisors, and engineers.

Perform preventative maintenance on production line machinery.

Qualifications:

Typically requires 1 year of electronic assembly or related experience.

Basic manufacturing line knowledge and participation in process improvement.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group situations.

Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

Good attention to detail and excellent eye-hand coordination.

Understanding of and ability to use a wide variety of tools and basic computer skills.
