Settlement AttorneyWe are seeking a dedicated Settlement Attorney to join our expanding Employment practice! As our Settlement Attorney in our Employment Class Action department, you will have the opportunity to assist in the finalization of terms and negotiations for plaintiff class and PAGA settlements. Interest in or direct experience in settlements and negotiationsFinalize terms of class and PAGA settlements in Motions of Understanding (MOU)Convert MOUs into long-form settlement agreements, including negotiating and finalizing key final settlement terms with defense counselAssist attorneys in drafting motions for preliminary and final approval of class action settlementsDraft declarations in support of preliminary and final approval.Work with the settlement administrator in finalizing the settlement administration reportAssist in the drafting of settlement agreementsCommunicate and coordinate with clients regarding settlements and needed informationInteract with third-party settlement administrators on carrying out the terms of the settlement agreementExperience drafting motions for prelimariy and final approvalStrong organization and time managment skillsLicensed in CA in good standing
