POSITION/PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The Department of Health Services (DHS) is implementing an Internal Registry Program at all DHS hospitals. The Internal Registry Program, utilizing relief nurses is designed to supplement the staffing needs of the facility as the needs arise maintaining continuity of care and quality patient care.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS:
1.
One year of experience within the last five years, as a registered nurse providing acute direct
patient care in a hospital.
2.
Current certification in accordance with the American Heart Association's Basic Life Support
(BLS) for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program.
3.
A license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the California Board of Registered
Nursing.

Includes standing or walking most of the time, with bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, and reaching; includes working on irregular surfaces, occasionally lifting objects weighting over 25 pounds, and frequent lifting of 10-25 pounds.
