The school has prepared almost 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students.

MHS is seeking a Senior Director, Procurement (SDP) to develop, implement, and oversee all MHS and as a shared service to Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning procurement operations including systems, processes, procurement strategies, contracting, analytics, improvements, and compliance.

The SDP is expected to maximize savings while ensuring high quality in a best-in-class manner to ensure a robust strategic supplier program for the school.

This is an on-site position in Hershey, PA.

The compensation range is $137,896 to $184,091 plus an excellent benefits package.

Primary responsibilities include:

Oversee and enhance contracting methods for procurement of all goods and services for MHS.

Develop and implement procurement metrics and utilize the data for continuous improvement, cost savings, and enhanced outcomes through procurement strategies.

Ensure an effective procurement compliance program in collaboration with MHS’s Office of General Counsel.

Effectively collaborate throughout the school to identify opportunities to consolidate spend and create value and savings for MHS.

Coordinate with central inventory to identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings.

Act as the lead procurement liaison for MHS’s leadership and the Board of Managers.

Lead collaborative procurement initiatives between MHS, CHS, and other Hershey entities.

Lead a team of 4 procurement professionals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or aligned field of study.

Master’s degree a plus.

Ten plus years of experience leading strategic procurement.

Demonstrated success in overseeing a high-quality procurement function which includes effective software systems, spend category strategies and utilization of analytics for continuous improvement.

Demonstrate success in leading change and effectively collaborating throughout organizations and with vendors and other organizations.

Demonstrated success in leading in a dynamic fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Excellent leadership, negotiation skills, and business acumen.

Keen analytical skills and detail orientation are also required.

Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all MHS staff are role models for students.
