Job Summary

As a GIS Analyst, you will drive the strategic direction and technical implementation of our core GIS platform using Esri’s suite of technologies. You will leverage ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Dashboards, StoryMaps, and Hub to manage, analyze, and visualize geospatial data, supporting the successful delivery of complex projects. Your expertise with Esri’s Enterprise platform will empower users to make informed, data-driven decisions, and contribute to the development of interactive, configurable tools. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Design and produce high-quality maps using ArcGIS Pro, optimized for web-based applications.

Create dynamic and interactive web maps and applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder, Dashboards, and Hub.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored GIS solutions on Esri’s Enterprise platform.

Communicate spatial analyses and insights to stakeholders through compelling maps, reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Develop training materials and provide technical support for Esri’s Enterprise tools and best practices.

Ensure the quality and consistency of spatial data with supporting metadata across the organization.

Conduct data integration and transformation using Esri’s geoprocessing tools and models.

Perform advanced spatial analyses with ArcGIS Pro, leveraging Esri Enterprise’s analytical capabilities.

Apply spatial statistics and modeling to reveal patterns and trends in geospatial data.

Develop and implement predictive models using Esri tools to support data-driven decisions.

Manage community engagement platforms using ArcGIS Hub.

Develop compelling StoryMaps to effectively communicate spatial insights.

Build and deploy custom GIS applications in the Esri Enterprise environment using ArcGIS API for Python, ArcPy, and JavaScript.

Employees at all levels are expected to:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.

Extensive experience with Esri’s Enterprise platform, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and enterprise geodatabases.

Strong proficiency in Esri tools such as ArcGIS Experience Builder, Dashboards, StoryMaps, and Hub.

Expertise in geospatial data management, spatial analysis, and modeling in an enterprise environment.

Experience in developing and maintaining GIS applications using Esri APIs and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

Solid understanding of enterprise database managementand spatial data formats. (Oracle and Postgres preferred)

Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Experience administering and managing ArcGIS Enterprise deployments (preferred).

Familiarity with Databricks for large-scale data processing and analysis (preferred).
