Description: This leadership role is responsible for leading the Ground Systems (GS) Mission Planning (MP) Hardware team in Fort Worth, TX. The selected candidate is responsible for leading the development of Next Gen Mission Planning (NGMP) hardware, leading Production and Sustainment activities for MPE Hardware, leading the MPE-I product life cycle, and managing Restriction Compliance & Release activities for MPSE software.
The focus of this role will include both program execution (cost, schedule and technical performance) as well as functional L-code responsibilities (employee recruitment, labor planning, performance assessments). Supports all development change actions and ensures Engineering and Program Management Process are followed. The L-code should be familiar and promotes agile development, leading change actions and ensures engineering and program management process execution.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Workforce planning, development, and retention
- Personnel performance, compensation and promotion planning
- Oversight of cost, technical, schedule across contracts
- Input and oversight for new business capture contract proposals
- Understanding team performance and motivating quality improvement across contracted efforts
- Interfacing with external Lockheed teams to meet commitments
Candidate must be eligible to obtain Special Access Required (SAR) clearances and must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in STEM field
- Experience leading a team as a L-code or Technical Lead
- Experience with hardware development processes
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and scope for a project or program
Desired Skills:
- F-35 ground or avionics systems knowledge
Experienced with Control Account Manager (CAM) processes
- Masters degree in STEM field
- Experience managing complex technical systems and programs
- Experience with Hardware development design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
- Knowledge of Agile development process
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
