TravelAbout the positionPosition/Specialty: CT TechThe Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) reports to the CT supervisor of CT and manager of radiology. Under general supervision, the CT Technologist performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physicianShift: Will work Fri-Sun, 3x12s 6:00a-6:30pIs on-call REQ? Yes – on call rotation among staff members Monday-ThursdayWill this traveler float between service lines? NoFloating Req to Sister Facilities: No
Required/PreferredYears of experience REQ: 1 yearFirst-timers accepted: YesNational Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. American Heart Association (AHA) BLS also required.Minimum Training and Education: Graduated from an accredited school of radiologic technology or a student clinical rotation with ARRT certification by end of rotation.Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of startRadiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelersSpecial Requirements: We perform inpatient, ER and scheduled interventional cases (Saturday only). Required skills: be able to start IV, Contrast, Biopsies, PACS system.

Approval prior to assignment, but not guaranteed.Local Radius: 60 milesLocals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rateRTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission.
