Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for its brand-new Cancer Center located in Wheaton, Maryland. Our new facility is within walking distance to a metro station, a short metro ride to Washington DC. and co-located with the latest in radiation technology.

Location: Holy Cross Health has two hospitals and four healthcare centers all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD
Responsibilities for the BC/BE physician will include inpatient and outpatient consultations in disciplines. The position will develop and provide treatment in all cancer types. We would utilize our tertiary care centers in cases that require this. We are co-located with the latest radiation technology.
The Physician provides licensed medical care including diagnosis, treatment (inclusive of surgery or pre/post-surgical care where appropriate) in the Cancer Center as well as case management and clinical research when appropriate. Must be able to manage complex and sometimes unpredictable situations. Must be competent in technical, clinical and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients receiving the above- mentioned services. The Physician is expected to practice within the established Medical Center and physician’s standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center.
