What we're looking for
8+ years in data engineering / ETL pipeline testing and Automation
5+ years of experience writing and executing SQL queries/python or pyspark
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Sound knowledge of data flows, data architecture, data engineering / ETL and processing data
Sound knowledge of QA methodology and Agile frameworks
Strong communication skills and a keen eye for details

Role Description
The Test Engineer will be responsible for managing all functional and automated testing processes in support of business intelligence development efforts at Oak Street Health. From design to implementation, you will partner with our stellar engineering, product, and design teams in a fast-paced, agile environment to transform ideas into a reality. Utilizing modern methodologies and open source tools, you will be empowered to push the boundaries of Quality Engineering as we seek to deliver applications that will directly and immediately impact the experience of our teams and our patients. This role will handle the creation of all test scripts, the documentation of all test cases and identification of bugs across ETL development and reporting. The Test Engineer will manage the identification of bugs and assist in the prioritization of bug fixes.

Responsibilities
Contribute in all aspects of SDLC process( SCRUM, Design, Code, Test, Deploy & Maintain)
Review and analyze business and system requirements / specifications
Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and log test results
Work with the development and product team to correct bugs / errors and identify requirement updates / clarifications
Support, design, develop, and enhance test processes and reporting for QA processes
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and solutions for ETL and data architecture
Automate tests to facilitate regression testing
Provide testing SME guidance to QA engineers
Other duties as assigned
