Aircraft Paint Technician

Our vision, building partnerships that last, applies to our employees as well as our customers.This hands-on position is responsible for assisting in all phases of aircraft painting while maintaining compliance with all safety, company, federal, state and local regulations.1st shift Position: Mon- Thurs; 6am - 2:30pm Overtime available Responsibilities of this position include:Applies sealer, and masks the aircraft using tapes and paper products (to protect windows, seals, struts, cables, etc.) in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processesCleaning and sanding in preparation for the stripping, priming, and painting processesApplies etch and anti-corrosion coating to aircraft and rinsingApplies paint to the aircraft interior and exterior surfacesPolishing and detailing exterior paintFabricate stencils, mix paints, layout and apply stripes, layout and apply insigniasOther duties as assigned.Top candidates will possess: Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanorAbility to communicate well in straightforward situationsOrganizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain a safe and clean work environmentExcellent workmanship aptitude and a desire to initiate improvementsOther requirements include:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to attain and retain AOA badge or Airport requirements5+ experience in auto or aircraft painting preferredBenefits & PerksElliott Aviation takes pride in offering a competitive and comprehensive benefit package to its employees to ensure our team is well cared for.
