Newborn Hospitalist PNP Opportunity in North DallasResponsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for a pediatric nurse practitioner to work with our newborn hospitalist group in Dallas! Our group is a part of a team that includes in-house neonatologists along with our affiliated group of neonatal nurse practitioners, developmental pediatricians, cardiologists, MFMs and pediatric surgeons who provide comprehensive newborn services at multiple hospitals.Details:Provide 10-hour, in-house coverage in the newborn nursery, no call requirementsResponsibilities include admissions and management of infants in the newborn nursery, delivery attendance, transitional care, circumcisions and consultations with familiesNeonatologist assistance/backup is provided as needed and in all high-risk situationsFlexibility with interest in learning and a desire to teach are highly valuedOpportunity to participate in education and quality improvement initiativesUnable to consider FNPs for this positionNorth Texas is one of the most famous and fastest-growing metropolitan destinations in America for its energetic lifestyle, scrumptious food, places to visit and variety of things to do.
