Environmental Project ManagerLocation: Lansing or Detroit, MichiganAre you an experienced Environmental Project Manager with a passion for impactful environmental projects across Michigan? Join our team and lead critical initiatives that contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment in Michigan and the Midwest!About the RoleAs an Environmental Project Manager, you will oversee complex projects in remedial investigation, feasibility studies, contaminant mitigation, and site remediation. Working with diverse clients, from the public and private sectors to military contracts, you'll guide projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest standards in quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects and maintain clear communication with clients across Michigan and the Midwest, covering public, military, and private sectorsLead and execute projects, including Remedial Investigations/Feasibility Studies, exposure mitigation, and site remediationMentor and guide team members to ensure project quality, safety, schedule, and budget adherenceReview project deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with government and industry standardsCollaborate on quarterly projections, invoicing, and closeouts with Department and Division ManagersEnsure compliance with environmental design, reporting, and production standardsActively engage in civic and professional organizations to further environmental initiativesJob RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of relevant field and project management experienceOSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certificationStrong technical writing and verbal communication skillsHands-on experience with soil, soil vapor, surface water, and groundwater investigationsProficiency in developing Conceptual Site Models, Feasibility Studies, and Pilot StudiesExpertise in remedial design, system construction oversight, and operations and maintenanceAbility to conduct fieldwork, following safety protocolsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Michigan Public Act 451, Part 201 and Part 213Experience with Brownfield Redevelopment grants, building demolitions, site due care, and Michigan Act 381 workplansKnowledge of Real Estate Due Diligence and Michigan Baseline Environmental AssessmentsExpertise in PFASOSHA Construction Safety trainingFamiliarity with Michigan environmental regulations and experience working with local agencies.If you’re ready to make an impact and drive Michigan’s environmental progress, apply today to be a part of our team!
