Job Description
As a Scheduler II, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning effort for a broad range of production activities related to ship repair, upgrades, and maintenance. You’ll work closely with Program Managers and other key stakeholders and contribute to the successful completion of complex ship repair projects.
Key Responsibilities:Detailed Production Scheduling:Create and maintain a detailed production schedule.Develop and assign production budgets aligned with work scope and requirements.Progress Monitoring and Reporting:Collect and incorporate weekly progress into production schedule.Monitor project progress.Analyze and report on the production schedule to internal and external stakeholders.Formulates and recommends corrective measures.Baseline Management:Set and report on baseline schedule at the start of each availability.Maintain the baseline with contractual changes.Collaboration:Represent planning in communications, meetings, and discussions with internal and external stakeholders.Work closely with operations, supply chain, contracts and finance teams.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in scheduling in ship repair or similar industry.Experience using Deltek Open Plan or similar scheduling tool such as Primavera.Moderate level of experience and ability using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present and lead meetings.Ability to work well collaboratively in a project-based team environment.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree in project management, engineering, business or similar field, and 1 - 2 years of experience in ship repair or similar industry.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $58300 - $99100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
