Garver's Aviation Team maintains a diverse, skilled design team dedicated to providing the expertise and leadership to assist our airport and aviation clients in meeting both current and future needs.
Garver's Florida Aviation Team is looking for an aviation team leader to join our growing diverse, skilled team in South Florida. The Aviation Civil Project Manager will have the opportunity to manage a wide array of aviation projects with various aviation clients, mentor junior engineers, and make significant contributions to Garver's growth momentum in the Florida aviation market. Your efforts in this role will be supported by an accountable, organized staff of experienced professionals. This position is suited to technically savvy engineers interested in a multitude of career growth pathways who thrive on collaborating with colleagues to create lasting, quality infrastructure and satisfied clients.Responsibilities for this role include: project management of aviation design projects for airports and other aviation clientsConstruction administration and oversite for aviation clientsMarket research and business development to create/ expand industry relationships to pursue and win aviation engineering and planning projectsCollaborate and coordinate with multi-disciple teams of design engineers and techniciansProvide outstanding client service
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited programLicensed Professional Engineer8+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with aviation project experienceResponsive and consistent in communicationsProficient in design software packages such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, aviation specialty programsTravel will be required with occasional overnight stays

Previous experience working with a multi-disciplined team while overseeing project executionExperience in construction administration for development projects at airportsLicensed pilot or other aviation-related experience
