#Youth24 * Telecommunication Operators are responsible for the efficient response to emergency and non-emergency calls including but not limited to: Receiving, processing, effectively prioritizing, and documenting all calls for service for the police department from the public. Relaying information to the appropriate source for assistance. Must have the ability to maintain the confidentiality of day-to-day operations. TCOLE Basic Telecommunications Certification is preferred or must be obtained within one (1) year of hire. Minimum Age 20 due to company policy. Have the willingness to and /or ability to work all shifts including holidays and weekends. This shift is primarily night shift and rotating weekends (8- and 12-hour shifts) and holidays. Performing relative administrative duties. * Benefits Details: $20.00 per hour. Pay for TCOLE Proficiency Certifications. Additional income can be made after working a certain time frame with the company each pay period. Health, dental, and vision insurance, along with retirement benefits. Two weeks of vacation accrued after one year of service. Longevity Pay: Employees will receive $5 per month after completing one year of service. Uniform shirts will be provided.
