ITU AbsorbTech is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in New Berlin, WI.
Summary of Position:
This position is responsible for the entire range of financial activity for ITU AbsorbTech including the treasury and accounting functions and information technology. Responsibilities include banking and accounting firm relationships, credit extension, capital expenditures, legal matters, leases, tax planning, acquisition due diligence and S-Corp family related matters including stock redemptions and life insurance portfolio management.
Essential Job Functions:
Serve as a member of the Strategic Sustainability Planning and senior management team. Responsible for Strategic Planning and development of financial and accounting systems and contributing to overall organizational strategic objectives.Manage all aspects of cash flow for ITU AbsorbTechAssure accurate payment of multi-state sales & use tax and corporate filing/registration complianceManage credit and collection process including related legal mattersServe as a key participant in the evaluation of acquisition prospects and related due diligenceLead and execute the managerial/cost accounting function for multiple production plants to yield external and internal (cross-charges) pricing analysisProvide accurate analysis of profitability across product lines and regionsEstablish financial objectives and direct and control through the forecasting and budgetary processProvide financial analysis, solutions and ROI for capital expenditures to bridge the gap between Finance and OperationsManage day-to-day operational activities of accounting and information technologyDevelop financial reporting and analytical tools to support the decision-making process for tactical and strategic initiatives.Leads annual and ongoing Finance and IT strategic planningEducation and Experience:
A bachelor's degree in accounting and 15-20 years of experience in a managerial role and a Certified Professional Accountant Certificate (CPA) is required. Previous experience in public accounting, financial planning, commercial real estate and system implementation strongly preferred.
Skills:
Strong working knowledge of accounting procedures in accordance with GAAP and managerial/cost accounting.Written and verbal communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.
