The Program Manager, Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's BCP/DR program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, as well as experience in developing and managing BCP/DR plans.
What you'll be doing:
Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's BCP/DR program Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization's operations Create and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) for all critical business functions Apply BIA data to develop and maintain BCP/DR plans for all critical business functions Ensure that the BCP/DR plans are properly rated and include all required sections Design, coordinate, and execute test exercises for critical business processes Test BCP/DR plans regularly to ensure they are effective Train employees on BCP/DR procedures and practices of technology risk disaster recovery planning Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures that are aligned with best practices Implement technical solutions to support the BCP/DR program Manage the organization's response to disasters and emergencies Lead crisis management teams during significant business disruptions Work with vendors and partners to ensure their BCP/DR plans are aligned with the organization's plans Oversee the budget for business continuity and ensure resource availability Collaborate with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems Partner with infrastructure and application areas to develop and maintain recovery procedures for critical apps Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to discuss and document technical information Contribute to process improvement initiatives Stay up-to-date on the latest BCP/DR trends and best practices Supervisor Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for all aspects of talent management for their team, including growing the BDP/DR team as necessary, leading and mentoring, and setting performance standards and conducting regular performance reviews Foster a collaborative and customer-centric work environment What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, computer science or other relevant field required Certified Master/Associate Business Continuity Professional (CBCP/MBCP/ABCP) preferred Certified in risk and information systems control preferred Certified Information systems auditor (CISA) preferred Certification in project management preferred ITIL certified preferred 10+ of experience in business continuity and IT disaster recovery 3+ years of experience in a leadership role 3+ years of experience in project management highly preferred 2+ years of experience with IT service management (ITSM) and ITIL best practices Experience in developing and managing BCP/DR plans, preferably for global organizations Experience in conducting risk assessments Experience in training employees on BCP/DR procedures Experience in managing the organization's response to disasters and emergencies Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:
Strong understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles Strong project management skills Strong communication and coordination across the organization Familiarity with fundamental IT concepts, infrastructure, and data center technologies Executive-level written and verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills The ability to communicate BCP/DR related concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences Ability to effectively manage multiple high priority projects at once Strong stakeholder management skills A proven track record of success creating and managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a global company Multilingual a plus Knowledge of IT security principles and practices Knowledge of the DRII/BCI BCDR frameworks Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance, as it pertains to BCDR planning Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Familiarity leveraging cloud platforms to improve data availability and increase resilience Familiarity with multi-cloud environments Experience with Google Workspace (GWS) Working Conditions:
