Position Summary:Data Ventures exists to unlock the full value of Walmart’s data by developing and productizing B2B data initiatives that empower merchants and suppliers to make better, faster decisions for the business. As part of this transformation, we’re seeking entrepreneurial individuals to help drive data productization from concept to deployment.What you'll do:Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others.Support and align efforts to meet customer business needs and build commitment for perspectives and rationales.Create software design and architecture for next software solutions, communicating your ideas with the rest of the team.Evaluate multiple solutions.Analyze competing requirements and articulate tradeoffs, leading discussions with business and development teams.Drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs.Develop and communicate business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance.Demonstrate adaptability and support continuous learning.Create training documentation and oversee the tasks of less experienced programmers, stipulating system troubleshooting supports.What you'll bring:Experience in computing platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure).Experience building and deploying APIs and applications.UI: React.js, Redux Saga, GraphQL.Microservices: Kubernetes / Docker.Cypress Automation.CI/CD.Java/J2EE, Kafka, Webhooks, OAuth.Microservices: Spring Boot / REST.RDBMS, NoSQL.DS and Algorithm basics.Knowledge of Cloud (GCP/Azure).SQL Data warehousing.Able to break down a product goal into development deliverables.Approaches risks head-on with options to mitigate.Ability to lead our technical relationship with partners and mentor a team of developers.Experience with containerization technology.*Immigration sponsorship is not available in this role.*Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.Preferred Qualifications:Customer Service experience and knowledge in creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.Primary Location:640 W California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-4828, United States of America
