We're looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for Veteran's Affairs.As a data architect on our team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for cloud computing and storage, platform partnering, and self-service reporting. You'll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by jointly developing user stories along with our business partners and development of data warehousing.In this role, you'll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices, and use tools, including Microsoft SQL, SSIS such as SQL Server Integration Services, Microsoft Azure, and Oracle, to design databases, build data models, conduct ETL processes, design and manage data warehouse applications, and optimize cloud computing resources. You'll perform as part of a high performing, self-organizing team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components. You'll problem solve alongside both clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered.With your drive to establish processes and lead technological innovation, you'll make a lasting impact on the client's Data and Analytics Product Line.You Have:10+ years of experience with cloud-based architecture and warehousing5+ years of experience providing technical leadership in a Microsoft Azure environmentExperience working as part of a highly technical, fast-paced, and highly self-organizing Scrum teamExperience with technical leadership, including problem solving, best practices, and optimization, within a multi-cloud platform environmentAbility to problem solve in real time alongside business partners, rapidly propose solutions, and build prototypes and solutions as part of a fast-moving Scrum teamAbility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirementsBachelor's degreeNice If You Have:Experience developing, problem-solving, and optimizing with Oracle Cloud Instance (OCI) Golden GateKnowledge of Agile project management within Jira and ConfluenceAbility to work alongside multiple business partners to develop and refine user stories and implement the technical solutions to the user stories developed across a multitude of cloud platformsBachelor's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, or Software EngineeringMicrosoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Certified Professional CertificationVetting:Applicants selected will be subject to a government investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements of the U.S. government client.Compensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being.
