Job ID: 2824170 | Amazon.com Services LLCAs the Head of Visual Design for Prime Video Sports Marketing, you will be responsible for delivering the brand identity and visual expression of Prime Video's growing sports brand. This role is focused on our design efforts to develop a cohesive sports brand experience for our customers. As a key leader within our quickly-growing, fast-paced business, you will need to be an owner of your work and thrive in a frequently ambiguous environment. Sports by nature are ever-evolving and unpredictable, and to be successful in this role, a candidate must be able to be nimble and responsive when opportunities or challenges arise.This leader will have the opportunity to pioneer our live sports ambitions, with a focus on visual aesthetics. We are looking for a Visual Design leader who can roll up their sleeves. The ideal candidate can make the most from partnerships with external agencies and directly create in-house, where no job is too small for great visual thinking. Strong cross-functional skills are important, working closely with other internal Amazon creative teams to deliver our world-class sports offering.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field10+ years of experience developing best-in-class design and visual assets across marketing channels (static, digital, video)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience building dynamic, clear, and consistent brand systems at scaleStrong passion for sports and entertainment, with a deep understanding of the industry's unique demandsExperience developing assets for live sports campaign launchesHigh emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and defuse conflictsEffective problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex goals into clear, breakthrough creativeStrong strategic thinking and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects through completionExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling creative briefs, scripts, taglines, and presentationsExceptional design skills and a keen visual aesthetic, demonstrated through a portfolioUnderstanding of brand-building strategies and the ability to build dynamic, consistent brand systemsAbility to conceptualize, execute, and creatively direct design elements, including a proven track record of hands-on designProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteDemonstrated expertise as a visual storyteller, with a deep understanding of the tools and techniques that engage and delight audiencesAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
