More information is available at www.alliant.com.SUMMARYResponsible for providing customer service and overall service of assigned customers and/or policies, soliciting of new business on existing accounts and support of Producer-led new business efforts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESExhibits proven competence in all Account Manager I duties and knowledge requirements;Fosters, in association with Team Leader, overall relationship with clients ensuring retention of book of business and high satisfaction;Collaborates with Team Leaders and/or Account Executives to manage all necessary functions and workflows within the team;Independently collaborates with clients regarding project work, client service requests and/or overall client benefit strategy;Assists in team mentorship program;Participates in team selling process including finalist interviews and RFP responses;Exhibits core competency on legislation directly affecting clients and the insurance industry;Receives and responds to client inquiries including benefit and claim questions and issues;Reviews client coverage contracts and amendments for accuracy;Develop and maintain effective working relationships with client and carriers;Manages and negotiates third party vendor relationship and contracts on behalf of the client;Ensures team prepares claims experience and utilization reports and reviews for accuracy;Meets with clients as directed by Producer;Prepares all reports deemed necessary by Team Leader;Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 60 days of invoicing date;Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceEight (8) or more years related work experienceEncouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisorValid Insurance LicenseMust continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewalSKILLSGreat leadership, problem solving and time management skillsGood presentation skills and ability to conduct open enrollment meetingsProven planning, organizational, and prioritization skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work within a team and to foster teamworkStrong attention to detailExcellent customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsAbility to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlinesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite
