Full Job Description:
Treston Security Services is looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Lead to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth execution of security services across various client sites. The Operations Lead will be responsible for managing teams, optimizing operational processes, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, preferably within the security industry, with proven leadership skills and a passion for process improvement. Experience in recruiting is also preferred, as the role mayinvolve overseeing the hiring and onboarding of new security personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of security personnel across multiple client sites.
Ensure operational goals and service level agreements (SLAs) are met, optimizing resources and maintaining efficiency.
Lead, motivate, and develop security teams, ensuring they are adequately trained, prepared, and supported to perform their duties effectively.
Monitor performance, conduct regular evaluations, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Coordinate with clients, site managers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
Oversee scheduling, ensuring the right personnel are in place to meet client needs, while minimizing overtime and maintaining labor cost controls.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including state and local licensing.
Manage incident reporting and resolution, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and documented properly.
Lead in the implementation of new projects or initiatives aimed at improving operational performance.
Provide regular reports on operational metrics to senior management, including staffing levels, incident reports, and site evaluations.
Assist with recruitment and hiring of security personnel as needed, ensuring that the right talent is brought on board to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of operations or team management experience, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the security industry.
2+ years of recruiting experience (preferred).
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and teams.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with scheduling and reporting software is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively handle challenges as they arise.
