MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a private group located in Mason City, Iowa.

Opportunity Details:

Join the team of three Neurosurgeons and three Physician Assistants in a private practice with an opportunity for partnership

Very stable, busy practice that has served Mason City and northern Iowa/southern Minnesota for over 30 years

Utilize all-digital imaging and archiving, microscopic surgery, surgical ultrasound, Brain Lab spinal neuro-navigational system, with access to on-site MRI/Functional MRI, X-ray, PET, and CT

Case mix includes complex spine, brain, and trauma; general neurosurgery, brain tumor, peripheral nerve disorders, central nervous system trauma, pain procedures, skull-based surgery, spinal fusion, deep brain stimulation, interventional neuroradiology, hydrocephalus, and Chiari malformation

1:3 Call

3 PAs to support the practice - PA does primary assist with daily inpatient rounding; each Neurosurgeon has their own PA

Recognized by Becker's Spine for the Healthgrades 2022 Spine Surgery Excellence Award - only 100 hospitals in the nation are honored with this award and our practice is the only one in the state of Iowa to be chosen

Candidates:

BC/BE (must be board certified within 3 years of becoming eligible)

EOE/drug screen required

H1B Visa & J-1 candidates accepted

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

A competitive compensation and benefits package is available for the right candidate including:

$100,000 commencement bonus

$900,000 base salary

6 weeks of PTO annually

Annual CME - $4,000

Annual earning potential of $1.2-1.4 million
