Job SummaryThe Senior Manager, Process Optimization is responsible for participating in and leading focused and strategically critical projects across the organization in all areas of the business. Will study, learn, and diagnose processes, identify root causes and improvement opportunities, prescribe improvement strategies, guide the improvement effort, and measure outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prioritize high impact projects that require quick action to resolve employee pain points.Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate the impact of critical business initiatives in a global settingInfluence design and development of strategic processesDevelop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projectsWork cross-functionally across teams to effect department-wide performance improvement with our internal and external partners by designing and implementing processes, metrics, and programs that enhance the end to end employee experienceAudit completed projects to verify sustained impactDeploy the 4-step CI process and Daily Management System using the 3Q6S toolsFacilitate all types of Kaizen events, ensuring proper pre-work, meeting the improvement objectives, and proper DMS follow up to ensure sustainmentMeet targets for lead time reduction and manufacturing cost-outInterface with design, process, test, reliability, and manufacturing engineering to solve production problems and identify improvements in product design and manufacturabilityDevelop and sustain process improvements to reduce production costs and increase yieldsMake recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components, materials, and systemsReview and update work procedures to ensure standards are documented to meet specificationsDevelop, implement and review methods, operation sequence, and processes in the manufacture, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies or extrusion.Make recommendations for tooling and process improvements existing product lines to increase efficiency and reduce costsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
4 Year Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, or any relevant Engineering major3+ years of experience in a technology hardware-based production environment5+ years of experience in product or quality engineeringTools and principles of Lean Manufacturing including VSM, SW (tools and forms), Set-up-Reduction,6S+, TPM, Problem Solving, Lean Material FlowOperations daily managementPlanning strategies and systemsAdvanced in Excel and VisioAnalytical skills and problem solvingCollaborative style of management and interactionChange management, working with difficult people
