Sr. Staff Requirements and Test Plans Systems Engineer

with demonstrated ability to lead development of new technologies to support our innovative MDA team.

This position will serve 100% on-site in Linthicum / Annapolis Junction, MD .

What You’ll Get to Do:

Ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performing functional analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.

Interfacing with multiple disciplines, including customers and internal teams.

Lead and report progress for requirements documentation, technical risk management, and key system performance parameters.

Clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities

Design and develop sensor system architectures and define key capabilities and performance requirements.

Ensure conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions.

Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, and requirements allocation.

Lead technical work products developed by the engineering team.

Support System Architecture requirements that satisfy customer needs.

Develop a thorough definition of system interfaces.

Collaborate with ASIC engineers on performance and power trade-offs.

Determine specs for ASIC/System compatibility.

Coordinate subsystems design and integration.

Maintain knowledge of current and developing technologies.

Provide presentations to customers and senior management.

Apply new technologies enabling rapid development and affordable solutions.

This position is contingent on clearance.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Staff Requirements and Test Plans Systems Engineer:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 14 years of experience, a Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 10 years of experience.

Demonstrated experience with RF Systems Engineering, ASIC Product lifecycle, Systems Integration, Device Characterization.

Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.

Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Clearance:

Candidate must currently have and be able to maintain an Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.

Preferred Qualifications of Sr. Staff Requirements and Test Plans Systems Engineer:

Current/active DoD Top Secret Clearance and SCI w/FSP.

Leadership experience with development and/or production program execution.

High proficiency in technical problem solving.

Multi-disciplined knowledge in engineering areas.

Silicon bring-up and debug experience.

Salary Range:

$174,800 - $274,700
