POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Product Marketing Manager – Pain Management will be primarily responsible for downstream support of AtriCure's Pain Management products for post-operative pain relief in cardiothoracic procedures. This role must be able to work with cross-functional teams to drive awareness and routine adoption of the therapy; this includes Sales, Marketing, Research and Development, Clinical Affairs, Operations, Finance, Quality Systems, and Regulatory.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
Align with field team to refine and implement marketing strategies and programs.
Educate, advise, and interact with customers in support of business goals/objectives.
Propose positioning, messaging, and market segmentation strategies for advertising, physician education programs, tradeshows, and patient advocacy outreach.
Monitor competitive landscape to enable the franchise to develop better informed strategies and communicate internally to relevant stakeholders.
Work with all departments to execute effective product launches and ongoing support to achieve sales performance goals.
Identify opportunities to present emerging data related to the therapy at major medical conferences.
Lead Advisory Board meetings to drive consensus and standardization of evolving procedural and multi-modal pain management strategies.
Contribute to overall Pain Management franchise strategy roadmap and implement business plans to grow the product line.
Establish relationships with key opinion leaders to assist with voice-of-customer activities and deliver needs assessment for future product development activity.
Work closely with Research and Development to manage assigned products.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of three to seven (3-7) years successful sales/marketing or related experience.
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, preferably engineering teams.
Builds and nurtures relationships internally and with external customers.
Analytical and strategic, effective technical writer, and strong moderator/presenter.
Hands-on and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel 20-35% domestically and internationally.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MBA or advanced degree.
Medical device experience, especially cardiovascular surgery or pain specialties.
Experience with international organizations and customers.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed.
Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed.
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
