The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The Transformation team within Enterprise Services is looking for a passionate program leader to lead ES Service adoption activities in support of the oneRTX strategic initiative. The role will require working with leaders within the RTX corporate organization and the 3 RTX business units to develop and execute plans that create the greatest value for our employees and shareholders.
The position will assist in all Data Service Adoption activities and ensure timely execution of deliverables. Serves as a key member responsible for central coordination of Data Service Adoption activities, including workplans, transition plans, business case development, financial management, communications and change management, and process improvement activities.
What You Will Do
Help design and execute a strategic blueprint to transform Enterprise Data Services (i.e. XETA AI / Analytics / Dev) for enterprise scale.
Evaluate current Data Services against industry benchmarks and best practices.
Accountable for ensuring that all functional program milestones are developed and align to overall oneRTX operating model and financial targets.
Make operational decisions within the context of long-term strategic goals and objectives.
Identifies and leverages various program interdependencies to ensure synergy between and across all teams to promote efficiency realization across the enterprise.
Proactively identifies additional cost savings to reduce overall program costs.
Work to achieve program milestones, resolve issues, and remove the barriers that may hinder project execution.
Proactively evaluates program activities, builds contingency plans, and executes corrective action on a timely basis to mitigate risks such as scope and/or budget variances.
Ensures that quality measurements and monitoring mechanisms are in place to ensure that deliverables meet or exceed expectations and integrate with overall program objectives.
Adheres to CORE and project management methodology by leveraging and promoting the use of existing tools, capturing best practices, and identifying areas for process improvement.
Responsible for the completion of other tasks related to this position as assigned.
May require up to 10% domestic travel.
Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) at RTX office in Farmington CT.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
Minimum 5 years experience with Program and/or Project management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (specifically in Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong collaboration skills and ability to communicate clearly up, down and across RTX Leadership and businesses.
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Qualifications We Prefer
RTX CORE certification or other Lean Continuous Improvement certifications.
Prior business consulting experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, business analytics or other digital discipline.
