About the role:
This is a newly formed role who will be managing a team of Implementation Managers while working as an Implementation Manager for Retirement projects.
Need to have a strong retirement industry background, experience in large, complex implementations, and be a proven leader. Also, leadership experience during organizational change defining and rolling out new roles and responsibilities is needed.
What you will be doing:
While acting as an implementation manager you will:Identify and escalate project risks and issues to client and internal leadershipWorking in partnership with the Project/Program Manager, will be responsible for the deliverables for all workstreamsWork with Solution Architects, Workstream Leads and PMO to define the organizational structure of the program/projectIdentifying and tracking all cross-workstream dependenciesLead the development of the "Go-Live" playbook and execution of the identified tasks, including mock conversions to validate the critical tasksDefines and refines the role of Implementation Manager, including the accountabilities and responsibilities of the role as it relates to the broader implementation team.Works with other members of Implementations/Conversions management team to establish division business strategies that align with corporate goals and objectives; effectively communicates strategies translating them into actionable items.Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.Performs resource planning and allocation; supports direct reports in meeting conversion timelines and requirements.Staffing: approves hiring recommendations; holds direct reports accountable for staff continuity; maintains varying and complimentary levels of skills, knowledge, and abilities across multiple teams.Employee relations: fosters and promotes cooperation and information sharing among team members; proactively addresses performance issues through appropriate Human Resources tools.Uses knowledge of FIS' conversion management principles and methodologies to identify, develop, and implement new processes, improve existing processes, and/or eliminate ineffective processes; holds teams accountable for compliance.Uses financial and qualitative information and tools to effectively establish and manage budget and revenue goals.Understands technical and functional concepts of FIS products including the interrelationships between products and technologies that support products.Interacts directly with clients at a senior/executive management level, managing problem escalation and providing sales support.Remains abreast of industry trends and technology standards.What you will need:
7-10 years
of retirement industry experience a must, including:Banking and cash reconciliation
Recordkeeping and administration
Trading
Digital platforms
3-5 years
of leadership experience in Professional Project Management environmentBachelor's degree in business, management information systems or computer science or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.Requires strong management skillsRequires strong organizational, team building, coaching and mentoring skillsRequires general business skills, industry knowledge, financial management and planning skills, long-term vision and executive presenceAbility to identify, address and resolve employee related issuesStrong analytical, statistical and problem-solving skillsAbility to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasksAdded bonus if you have:

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $117,620.00 - $197,580.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
