A leading law firm is seeking a Junior Associate to join its Renewable Energy Project Finance team in San Francisco, CA. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy projects involving wind, solar, and battery storage. The Junior Associate will be responsible for drafting exhibits and financial/corporate documents while gaining exposure to project documents and diligence processes related to the construction and operation of renewable energy projects. This role focuses on supporting transactions such as construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage financing.Duties

Work on renewable energy project financings, including solar, wind, and battery storage transactions.Draft exhibits, financial documents, and corporate materials for project finance transactions.Assist with the review and diligence of project documents related to the construction and operation of renewable energy projects.Support in managing complex transactions, including construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage finance.Collaborate with clients, including major players in the renewable energy space, as well as other associates, senior attorneys, and partners on transactions.Requirements

1-3 years of general corporate or project finance experience.Experience or strong interest in renewable energy projects, specifically wind, solar, and battery storage sectors.Strong drafting, organizational, and transactional management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications and Skills

Admitted to the California Bar.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage transactions, and work directly with clients.Demonstrated interest in energy project finance and renewable energy sectors.
