Excellent academic credentials and superior research and writing skills are essential.Duties:Provide legal analysis and advice on insurance coverage issues, including professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance.Manage and oversee complex insurance coverage and reinsurance disputes from start to finish.Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, dispositive motions, and other litigation-related materials.Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, managing document review, and addressing discovery disputes.Conduct depositions and represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, and other legal matters.Develop and maintain client relationships, managing cases independently and effectively.Participate in business development and client acquisition efforts.Collaborate with colleagues to strategize and execute case plans.Stay updated on developments in insurance and reinsurance laws and regulations.Requirements:2 to 6 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.In-depth understanding of insurance coverage issues under professional liability, general liability, and directors and officers insurance policies.Proven experience in drafting legal documents, managing discovery, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court.Preferred experience in business development, client management, and independent case management.Excellent academic credentials with a strong track record of research and writing skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility to practice in California.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Superior research, writing, and communication skills.Experience in managing complex litigation cases and insurance coverage matters.Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.Proficiency in business development and case management.Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
