What You'll Be DoingYou will maintain a high level of knowledge of the services provided by the agency and the programs. The Administrative Assistant will be the face of the agency, welcoming visitors and answering incoming calls.
Your Main Priorities•Maintains cleanliness of front desk and waiting area.•Greets all visitors with a warm, friendly and supportive manner.•Receives and records client payments and provides receipts in accordance with established procedures; makes bank deposits.•Receives, sorts and routes, mail, and deliveries.•Assists with general office duties (i.e., typing, faxing, mailing, filing, shredding, etc.).•Assists with agency events (i.e., holiday giving, annual meeting, board meetings, engagement events, etc.).•Assists in agency programs as needed.
Who You AreRequirements, Skills & Abilities:•High school diploma or equivalent required.•Minimum 6 months' experience working in a customer service environment.•Experience working in an office setting preferred.•Strong organizational, critical thinking and time-management skills.•Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.•Ability to communicate and effectively interact with a diverse population.•Collaboration and teamwork.•The ideal candidate will be required to meet all background checks and medical clearances required for the position.
Physical RequirementsOperational Staff:This position involves work in an office setting. Tasks include operating a computer for extended periods, communicating with colleagues, and occasional lifting of office/department materials up to 25lbs. The role also requires the ability to sit for extended periods, bending, reaching, hearing and vision.
