Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer (Remote)

An employer in the Healthcare Technology industry is looking for a Senior BI/Data Engineer to join their team remotely in the United States.
They will be acting as a high level individual contributor, tasked with hands on Data Engineering in Spark, Scala & Python as well as hands on BI Development within AWS Quicksight and Cognos.
The role will include architecture/design and hands-on coding/engineering so recent hands-on experience is required (not just for POC's).
Initial projects this Engineer will be working on include work associated with Data Cataloging, Lineage & Governance. The company has gone through a recent cloud migration to an AWS exclusive cloud environment so there are several projects associated with implementing new tooling to work in the new environment.
Lead the collaboration with Product Owners and development teams to understand business and analytic requirements, translate them into meaningful data pipeline design requirements and analytic productsArchitect and deliver data solutions to support complex business intelligence and machine learning solutionsDesign data models document and collaborate to create conceptual and logical modelsArchitect and guide ETL engineers to optimize and maintain data models, and enable end-to-end data-driven integrationMaintain BI systems, design, develop, and implement various enterprise dashboard and reporting solutionsDirect and contribute to data pipeline development effortPartner with Enterprise Architecture team to develop and implement future state data architecture standards, guidelines, and principles for the enterpriseAssist in implementation and maintenance of enterprise data stewardship, governance, and cataloging of company data and meta dataCollaborate with the data science and development teams to enable technologies and processes to maintain and improve data quality standards
