The Data Analyst will work with pharmacometricians, pharmacologists, and senior scientists to create analysis-ready datasets and interpret confidential clinical/nonclinical data. The Data Analyst will receive personalized training and mentorship by senior scientists on our cutting-edge technology and methodology to support our clients’ drug development programs. The ideal candidate is a strong programmer, organized, detail-oriented, and a team player. This position is onsite at our Ann Arbor office. Prior knowledge about pharmacology/pharmacometrics is NOT required.Specific responsibilities
Write reproducible code to create analysis-ready datasets for use in modeling and simulationObserve and interpret data trends and analyze data using statistical methodsPrepare tabular and graphical data summariesAssist pharmacometricians in model development and performing model-based simulationsParticipate in quality control processes for pharmacometrics pipelines, ensuring accuracy and reliabilityMaintain and develop detailed documentation on procedures, results, and methodologiesCommunicate scientific aims and results to both internal team members and clientsQualifications
BS or Master’s degree in quantitative sciences, biostatistics, statistics, engineering, or data scienceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentProgramming experience with R software is desirable. Other programming languages are also welcomeCandidates should possess strong data management, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt and adjust to changing prioritiesExperience in application of time-to-event (survival) analyses is a plus
